Recently at our Wyndham Coworking ConnectHACK event – Our Friends from RMIT and Melbourne University announced they are doing some studies into BizBuddyHub and the case for a business/community hub here in Wyndham. If you would like to participate here are the details:

We are conducting a study on local business / community hubs and would like to hear your views and suggestions on elements that may help these hubs to thrive in the area where you live.  This is a collaborative project between RMIT University and Melbourne University.

We would like to invite you to share your views through participation in a 1.5 hour workshop to be held on Thursday 28th September and Friday 6th October at The Park, Werribee. Your participation will be rewarded with a Coles gift-voucher for $120 to reimburse your time, travel and parking expenses.

The workshop discussion will be audio-recorded and to preserve your privacy, the data will be de-identified before commencing the data analysis. The RMIT Human Research Ethics Committee has approved the research project (see attached Participant Information Sheet and Consent form).

If you are interested in participating please send a reply email to Ying, our Research Assistant on huckying.chng@rmit.edu.au, with your name, mobile contact details, and an indication of which workshop(s) (numbers 1, 2, 3 or 4) below you would be able to attend (you will only attend one; but please let us know all the times you would be available, for purposes of allocation of numbers evenly across workshops).

  1. Thursday 28 September, 9.30 am – 11am
  2. Thursday 28 September, 11.15 am – 12.45 pm
  3. Friday 6 October, 9.30 am – 11am
  4. Friday 6 October, 11.15 am – 12.45 pm
