Let’s hope more and more BizBuddies will be up for awards next year folks, it’s a great way to get your business plan in order and its always good to get acknowledgement of the effort you are putting in behind the scenes.
There is certainly lots of talent in Wyndham and the room was abuzz with old and new business, and was reflective of our diverse demographic that we have in our local area. Congratulations to all the finalists and good luck with the judging process and we are looking forward to celebrating with you all in August.
This strengthens my belief that we are true “Local” with the recent census showing an overall growth in population in Wyndham of 34% and confirming we are fastest growing area in Australia! Knowing that we will double in size in the next decade, it is up to us that we have a strong vision for our community and that we are focused on building a sustainable and strong local economy , social cohesion and we are inclusive and collaborative. We cannot expect this to happen from the top down, we must connect from the bottom up and learn how to collaborate and ensure our future of community and future of work.
Wishing you all well for this next chapter and new financial year and where ever you are at, we wish this to be a year of belonging, inclusion and building for you all. We live, work, shop, support local and collaborate global – will you join us on this journey?
