Learning Agenda strives to transform learning and teaching. We connect people and promote tailored and personal learning. Through learning with experienced scholars and practitioners, we co-create knowledge and innovate ideas to address problems we face in the 21st century.
Learning Agenda reprioritizes the purposes of learning to make a social impact. We believe humanity, empathy and respect are as valued as knowledge and skill. We aim to attract a pool of notable scholars and practitioners who are willing to mentor and share their know-how with a community of learners, seeking to learn both for experience and for the joy of learning. Through sharing and co-creating knowledge we can create a deeper understanding of real world issues, develop better strategies to create positive social change and empower others to do the same.
We use the analogy ‘learn how to swim without getting wet’ as a way to describe our mainstream education system. Some people find the types of learning promoted by the traditional education system highly impersonal, uninspiring and disconnect from the real world. Responding to these problems, we create Learning Agenda to enable people to have direct access to relevant experts, scholars and practitioners who can and want to share knowledge beyond the traditional classrooms.
